There isn’t a fine line between genius and insanity, it’s a big grey fuzzy one.

Some people don’t bother trying to hide it.

And the people who seem to have: “Their Stuff together” are in the worst shape.

One way to make yourself feel better is to tell yourself that everyone is just as bad off as you are.

I know it’s around here… somewhere.

“Out of sight, out of mind.” In other words, “Invisible idiots.”

I wake up 10 feet away from potable water. I go to work. I have a job. It is safe and it pays enough. I have lunch. I have never known hunger except by my own choice. I go home and my house has not been burned to the ground. My wife has not been raped and killed. My daughter has not been sold off to a bordello. My son has not been given drugs and an AK-47 and conscripted into some war lord’s army. I go to warm comfortable bed at night with a roof over my head. I pray to the God of my choice and am not persecuted for it.

Yup, when I compare myself to people who do not have what I have, I consider myself blessed.

True wealth should not be measured by how much you have. It should be measured by how much you don’t need.

Mindlessness should not be wasted on the trivial.

And youth is wasted on the young.

Why hide it?
