We had a neighbor who, instead of a traditional candle inside their Jack-O-Lantern, used a few charcoal briquets. It gave off an eerie glow. As the night wore on, the pumpkin was cooked from the inside and gradually began to crumple in on itself, looking spookier and spookier.
It was one of the coolest Jack-O-Lanterns I’ve seen.
