I remember what a chore it was when I needed to wash my older daughter’s favorite stuffie, “Sorry” (she doesn’t remember why she named it that). She wouldn’t scream or fit, but she’d sit quietly and just sob until Sorry was back in her arms.
How deep is it into our culture that when you hear “[BLANK] is my kryptonite” you know what that means? Good chocolate is mine. That and Miyazaki’s works.
