It was a bit before midnight when I could look down across the fields and see the lights of the westbound Broadway Limited as the GG-1s blew their horns for the road crossings. That was in the 1960s. Now the crossings don’t exist and there is no Broadway, not that I live anywhere close to where it ran, either.
