Is that how the love bird got its name?

I haven’t thought about Miles Standish in ages. Usually I default to Cyrano.

His beak will never be the same….

Well Miles Standish did not get the girl either!! His best friend married her, so sad.

Hmm, with that nose, he looks a tad bit more like Cyrano De Bergerac to me.

At least she didn’t shoot the messenger.
