Think I figured out why Pointy-Hair and company are, quote un-quote, “untouchable.” They’re an anomaly. They hail from the original timeline, but have somehow successfully altered history so their original timeline never exists. But history can’t reset them to match, because doing so would likewise alter what they had done to alter time. And as it’s been established that time is resistant to being altered here, this stresses it in abnormal ways. It’s a paradox, in short. So the shocks the girls received is probably time reacting weirdly to the bad boys presence. This sadly means there’s no good way to avoid it without undoing whatever it was the boys did in the first place to mess up history.

A nice assessment of the girls. And fiddling with time you may get time fiddled yourself.

Lottie seems to know that she is the intimidating one. I think we’ll see her wicked side. . .beware.
