Do Ollie and the twins remember the time travel? Do the three girls remember? Does A.C. “Vinnie” Goater remember pulling all those Calvins out of the past, or does he remember his role in preventing a train wreck? For that matter, was there ever a time hole now? It was curious that when Lottie looked at microfilm from July 1961, there was the story about the train disaster, but we didn’t see a story about how a scientist from the Atomic Energy Administration had performed an experiment at the school that atomized a teacher and blew out a wall. Maybe it was second-page news, behind the train wreck (and Gary the Horse, and the mini-skirt prototype)?
Unless the girls wrote their experience down, I doubt they remember their experience. After they prevented the train wreak, that time line, including the explosion that opened the time portal and the loop, disappeared. There might be vague memories left, but everything else is gone. Look up the “Mandela Effect” for people who claim to have memories of alternative histories.

I don’t think school plays typically get that sort of attention, Lottie, but hey, dare to dream, girl!

Wasn’t it Mildred who joined the drama society, leading Lottie to do so too? Is she in this play?
