What Beetles songs do you think he’s going to play? I bet he starts off with “All You Need is Lust” – you know, the one that starts: There’s nothing you can **** that can’t be ****ed …
“Look, Mr. Bostwick, try not to take this too harshly……….but you are not my friend. You’re an employee of this institution of which I am a prisoner and conscientious objector. I understand that you want to “help” me in a way that is more enlightened, but the system of which you are a part will simply not allow that to happen. They don’t want happy students. They want docile ones. If I were to confess to you the full extent of my misery and dissatisfaction, you’d either have me medicated or transferred away on the short bus. And as crappy as this place is, at least no one here is trying to eat the wallpaper or shouting at imaginary unicorns. So if you’ll just sign that form, we can both continue to go about our day pretending everything is dandy and not have to go through this charade again."
I would expect a teacher Bostwick’s age to be a devoted fan of Oafish or Blurt, and not something as old as the Beetles. But maybe the choice purely is intended as a matter of mental torture for the students.

Those Beetles just don’t have the beat, and yet they’re more popular than the Whom or the Rotating Rocks.
