Linton is rude using his awful sarcastic voice to Lottie, but he’s s (most likely) right saying she’s driven by her hatred. Linton’s passion for mysteries and justice was on a par with Lottie’s. I’d really like to know what made him change, because he’s no more interested in it in the new Lottie’s stories. Maybe it has something to do with Mildred or Claire?
