Oh, Jack’s plan must be to lure Mr. Night Creeper into Cheviot Hall just before it collapses from having a section of wall removed! Bold plan, Jack. Bold plan.

Sadly, Mr. Potter is now a hostage of his author.

Totally with Jack here. I remember my classmates were huge HP fans and I wasn’t able to figure out what they found so great about these books (and movies) about kids living locked up in a school for wizards. I’m sorry Erin has to hearing a discussion about HP.

Jack…back at the peak of the Potter craze I had thought the same thing, refused to touch any of the books.

Then a school buddy sat me down with the first novel anyway…I’d finished it in well under a week and was raring for more, as the books had proved to not be quite what I had thought they were.

The lesson here being—don’t judge a book by its cover. In this case, literally. At least read part of the first book so to get a feel for the story before passing judgement.

There are far, far better books out there than Harry Potter.
