Maybe Keith still exists in this timeline. As Lottie pointed out, since now there was no train crash and the station master didn’t become a hero, parents now had no reason to name their sons “Keith”. But those sons would still be born, and they would just be named something else. Unfortunately, Shauna can never find him, since she no longer clearly remembers what he looks like.
I’m wondering now if there were any recurring characters who just… quietly stopped recurring after this.
I can’t think of anyone, though. To the contrary, the New Bobbins storylines that followed this brought back a lot of characters we hadn’t seen in a while. Though a couple of them, like Rich, got more definite endings than just being quietly deleted from history.
