So Shauna’s storytelling has moved from the Cormorant offices over to Hugo’s.

The “maybe more”, as told in the Scary Go Round story “Chilton Takes Charge”, was that Amy had a huge inexplicable crush on Lovelace, and kept trying to throw herself at him, while he put diligent effort into not catching her. And then he had Dinkle Molotov her shop under cover of an angry mob raised by the evil old ladies, which he in turn used as cover to loot the place.

This was before Amy and Ryan got together. Ryan dated Amy’s assistant Melanie briefly after rescuing her from the fire, and then after that broke up, he dated Lottie’s sister Sarah, until she went away to university at the end of SGR. It was only after that that Shelley pushed Ryan and Amy together and they stuck.

The first two panels have Amy in outfits she actually wore during “Chilton Takes Charge”. Lovelace too, for that matter.

Dixon Lovelace appears to be another individual with an unsavory past. Perfect match for Amy.

What is wrong with Wendlefield according to the Bad Machinists? If I ever knew — and I may have — I don’t remember.

I’m aftaid that could be a trap for poor Amy.
