Teacher: Today we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, unless you object to the term "hispanic"... In which case we can call it Latino Heritage Month, thought some people find both phrases inaccurate... So some of us are now calling is Spanish-speaking person Month, but that isn't quite so accurate because many people who speak Spanish aren't necessarily hispanic...or Latino. Heck, my uncle speaks Spanish and he plays bagpipes in Scotland! Ha! Oh look, our month is almost over.
