Give me contestant number 3, he’s happy, grateful, and can see the positives in a school lunch.

One on the left, you want pizza? Obviously you’re forgetting this is not Italy either.

I thought Pizza was an Americanized version of the original? Much like tex-mex is a pale imitation of the real thing?

When are we going to see that “hot” lunch lady? Perhaps it’s Yenny?

That first friend should know that pizza is Italian. If he asked for a hambuger, strike two; it’s German. If he wanted sushi, strike three he’s out (straight to the principal’s office) for it’s Japanese.

Oh, my. The countries from which I named the cuisines are the Axis powers of WWII: Italy, Germany and Japan. What am I gonna call this: the World Food Fight?

Oh. The first friend should also know that America is made up of diverse cultures. So international cuisines can become national cuisine.

Wildmustang1262, good morning, and happy Labor Day weekend. Hard to tell how the food tastes, although Cruz seems to like the dessert and the dessert lady.

How about a compromise for the first two: Caesar salad - invented by an Italian-born Mexican on the 4th of July.

You can’t get much more multicultural than that.
