Calvin Coolidge said the business of America is business. Don’t businesses try for a black bottom line?

Yah, do you really want your rights handled like a business would?

Want freedom of speech well that would be $100 grand Want the right to bear arms that will be $1 million Want the right to a fair trial well that will be $400 grand …

Honestly our government is run to much like or by business. I agree the government shouldn’t spend more then it has, but that is as close to business that it should come.

Add Wal-mart to that list. I want to vote for someone who actually believe’s in what they talk about, and not just give lip service. And someone who actually cares about America and where’s she’s going, not what they can get from her.

The thing is we’re a country not a business.

Communism: The state owns and runs the businesses.

Capitalism: The businesses run and own the state.

Either way the people get screwed.

Enron, BP, Bear Sterns, and Lehman were run like governments.

If you don’t pay a business for something you don’t want, it’s OK. If you don’t pay a government for something you don’t want, you get jailed.

Businesses don’t have governmental power unless the government’s big enough to control aspects of people’s lives. Then it’s profitable to lobby.
