My boss tried the water bit, and when that did not work, tried the rubbing alcohol bit, and even some hair spray, then some witch hazel. We still have ‘ghost marks’. Any other suggestions?

I use a dry erase marker over the permanent and then it wipes off.

pschearer: Almost all Hindenburg passengers survived. The deaths were among crew members at landing stations among the lifting gas bags in the hull.
