Baldo es un buen samaritano.

Looks like assumptions yesterday were wrong and it was just Beatriz who got the pink slip.

I would have thought she would have taken her work shirt off and thrown it in the trash by now. It’s just a reminder of bad memories now.

I think she was playing him… God! Am I cynical or what?!

The boss did say ONE of you has to go, so I guess its Bea and Baldo is safe.

Bea was the last hired. So Rod use the last in first out method, which many do. She’ll find something else, she’s a good worker.

And maybe Mr Rod will discover that Bea and Baldo did all the work. Baldo may be able to do two jobs, but three?

Again, Baldo hooked up with the wrong girl. Should’ve gone with Bea instead of pigtails.

He is showing her pity, that won’t make her feel good. If Baldo wanted to help Bea he would help her find a new job, not give her charity.

Support; empathy; caring is not the same as ‘charity.’

Hate to be busting bubbles, bot the cartoonist works a couple of weeks head, and if the strip is to be colored, the strip gets shipped to somebody who does it—yellow is what everybody related to the store gets colored yellow. At minimum wage rates, that is all the thinking you are entitled-to.
