This means he has just finished his Freshman year in HS. I had thought he was a year older. [Yes, I realize he’s stuck in comic strip time, but with his job, I was just thinking he’d achieved one more year.]
I don’t think he’ll turn 16. Once he can drive, things will change and his range of wandering from home will increase. Which makes me sad about my 12 year old!
