Don’t know much about Telenovelas. Is that the Hispanic cultural version of shows like Edge of Night, As the World Turn, The Guiding Light, etc. that were the afternoon fare when I was growing up? Sob stories as my dad’s mother used to call them.
Had the last panel be sepia, could have been from a “Lagrimas y Risas” comic book. Used to portray very melodramatic stories, several of which made it to telenovelas and movie format. Examples: Gabriel & Gabriela, Corazón Salvaje, El Pecado de Oyuki, Rarotonga, etc.
