Bus driver is as noble a profession as spaceship captain. Until people start getting to work or school by rocket ship, bus drivers are, in a real sense, more important than astronauts.
I remember the NBC news coverage of the first Space Shuttle mission. No sound, but the whole mission was shown to the music of Vangelis’ “Chariots of Fire”. I’ve NEVER forgotten that; that theme STILL sends chills down my spine and tears to my eyes.
