Look, Rayna is wrong to be mad about that.. but right to be mad about how Cruz is treating her legit grevance that he hid this from her, as well as you know SHUTTING HER OFF in yesterday’s strip.
Seems to me all Cruz has to do is explain that many others also had those same notes on their locker, not just him so it’s probably some crazy joke. Guess that’s too much like common sense.
Rayna, you don’t have to stay mad at him. You can just dump him. You might not have found any better guys at this high school, but you have your whole life ahead of you, and you do NOT have to spend it with a jerk who would do something like what Cruz did to you yesterday. That was a massive relationship red flag, and you should not put up with it.
No one can control what other people do – if someone left a note on his locker – he had no control over that. If he contacted the person or answered the note (other than “leave me alone”) – that is another story.
I know that a woman husband worked with was interested in him – yet, she is still a friend of ours and we see her every year (except during pandemic) at one or two reenactment events we do at a local restoration village. I tend to be the one to see her as he stays at the camp and I will take a walk around (especially to the “necessary house”). I say hello, we catch up on what happened since we saw last each other and I go on my way. I even let him know shes there if he wants to say hello to her. The past does not matter all that matters is now and the future.
