One year in early elementary school after the “Meet the Teachers” meeting my mom asked why I rarely was doing homework as all of the other parents were complaining that the teacher gave too much homework. Being an honest child I told her – “I do it on the school bus coming home”. (Then again I lost my first report card on the bus coming home from school – no, it was legitimately lost.)
