Good afternoon all! (or morning if it still be morning in your parts) I am in the process of ruining my internal clock. Staying out all hours of the night, and sleeping in. On Monday I start work. I’ll be waking up shortly after I would be going to bed. Should be fun.

Good day johnnyd. I used to do the same thing when I was going to art school. I would get home anywhere from 3 to 5 and then have to get ready for school at six. I am now, 30 + years later getting up just an hour later than I used to get home after a full nights sleep. I used to prefer the nights and as I aged I started preferring the morning hours. LOL

For me I find that I am posting less and less at Big Top. There is so little conversation anymore, just one joke after another. I have no time of desire to read the jokes so what’s the point. Some people are enjoying them so it encourages more. Groan, just ranting here.

Just a quick hello tonight - not sure I’ll be back later. Went to work and the day started off normally. At some point I looked up and the person in charge of the east coast was in our office. My usual clueless self went back to work and then he addressed the whole office. Our SE VP was no longer working with the company - so the east coast guy was here today and will be here next week. I don’t think I need to worry (Tabby, you are not to worry about this, ok), but I’m curious what kind of changes this will bring. Anyway, I’m still kind of in shock, so going to get my mind off of things. Everyone have a great evening and I will try and stop by this weekend. ((NN))

Okay i have GREAT news!

S just got home today was the end day. it was two years and about 3 hours diff. from the time that the sents was given for the killer of her son and the time her son was killed. the man got life. we are all so relieved. S said that the court house was packed with cops and all had wepons, something was going on. They got an esscort out of the building and half way home. all is well she is home and she is safe. she told me “we are safe baby dont worry, we are safe.” i was so worried about her. she can finaly heal now. thank you God

Good news Tabby. I was on this site when the whole gocomics thing went down and it has taken until now for it to get back to normal for me. Gocomics did not make it easy for me to get here all day long.

Dry yes, Bush’s Bavarian is part of the bean company. We do a lot of dried beans, but I love to buy Bush’s Grilling beans for lunch. I eat beans almost every single day.

The Bavarian beans have so much added flavor just because of the addition of caraway.

*Cleo I’ve never seen Bush’s Bavarian around here. I wonder why? All we have are the various bean varities. Beans are really good for you, and I eat a lot myself but I can’t help it … beans everyday? Guess you don’t need to go to a service station to fuel your vehicles huh? You are your own GAS station! ROFLMAO! Sorry buddy, like I said, I couldn’t resist that! (Sauerkraut has the same effect!)

Beans? I’m probably the only TexMex in the world that doesn’t like beans. The only time I ate them was when I was preggers and I craved them. They has to be refried beans though. I won’t be having anymore cravings anymore.

Tabby, I’m very happy for “S” too. Yes, I agree, she will never forget, but she will at least have some closure.

Dry & Carmy LOL. You don’t see Bush’s sauerkraut around here either. I have to search far and wide for it, although I am planning to talk to our local grocer, who carries Bush beans and see if we can get him to carry the sauerkraut as well.

Carmy not even green beans? Oh dear! My favorite way for green beans besides green bean casserole, is steamed, and cooled and marinated in a dill-vinegar solution. And eaten cold, YUMMY YUMMY!

And then of course, Bean Salad! And CHILI!

Cleo when you said Bush’s Bavarian and caraway seeds, and the talk was of sauerkraut, I thought Bush’s made sauerkraut! Do they even make sauerkraut? Maybe this was just a misunderstanding about we were talking about! LOL!

Dry, I meant pinto beans and the like. I do like green beans. I made something I hadn’t in some time since I’m the only one that likes it here. It’s diced chicken breasts, diced potatoes, minced garlic and green beans with a pasta sauce. Serve with some nice bread and it’s big YUM!

Carmy can’t say I ever had that. Sounds interesting, never thought of that combination. I do make ham, green beans, and potatoes. I most often add onions, and many times cabbage. I use a ham hock and slow simmer the day before, let it in the refrigerator overnight, then pull off the fat and skim the grease off.Then add the other ingredients and roast for about an hour or 45 mins.

Dry, yes sauerkraut made by Bush with caraway seeds. It is an item.
