(where is everyone this morning? Since it’s close to lunch time I shall serve hot dogs, hamburgers, fresh cucumber, tomato, and onion salad, baked beans, and corn on the cob. And fresh brewed raspberry tea.)
sorry ive been gone so long. and bad news my computer is crashing so i cant stay long. i had a busy friday night i dont remember much of saturday and i had a busy sunday. tho i did find time to fall asleep outside on the pourch swing sunday. took a nice nap. it was cool outside and i woke up with frozen feet and legs. mrs p said my feet felt like they were gonna be frost bitten adn fall off. love her. im on my dreadfuly long break right now. all i can say is that this school needs to get some cheep food on here.
well i love you all and you better know it. but i must be going for now. bb when i can. (((hugs)))
I have been very busy lately hope to be on more often, but we’ll have to see. Our new place is taking a bit long to set up in spite of the fact that I won’t be here long. Kinda annoying.
Oh well. I’ll be on when I can.
Tabby, I don’t know how cool it is down there, but up here in Michigan it hasn’t been near cold enough for frost bite. I wouldn’t worry too much about that, but I think you knew that.
Tabby I love this! You have to scroll down a bit, but I love it!!!
Pirate Computer Keyboard
The Pirate Computer Keyboard is a bizarre gadget that has been designed for pirates only. Since one could assume that pirates can’t read, they can be taught to press ‘space’, the ‘enter’, the ‘shift’, etc. I am not sure which pirate would like to get a gadget like this, but at least it helps them write the “rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr” they are so famous of saying
Hola Dry, JFri, Shika, Tabby and Johnny!Tabby, I loved the link with the keyboards. Really cool!!
I wonder if we need to remind the Pirate that Pirate Day” is coming up on the 19th. **Arr!
Daughter #2 is having a birthday on the 16th, which is Mexican Independence Day. Ay yi yi!!
Is it time to go sleepers yet? Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
JFri, Paint Your Wagon, a great musical? Can you honestly tell me that you dug Clint Eastwood’s singing?
I loved Cat Ballou, but the silver nosed man gave me nightmares. I also had nightmares from the man that stole the children in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!
I saw Paint Your Wagon on my high school Sr. class trip to Washington DC. They took us to this big theatre where we sat and watched it, and no, Clint couldn’t sing worth a hoot, but the movie was good, haven’t seen it in years!
We had a free few hours one evening so my friends and I left the hotel and walked around the city. I could see us doing that today! And had our parents known we had done that, well, they would have “wigged out”. There were beggers and bums everywhere, and there we were walking aound with our pocketbooks, probably looking like the small town teenagers we were!
Dry, I’m surprised that no one “jacked’ you all. Maybe the bums thought it was a set up.
BBL, gotta rustle up some grub, even if it’s NOT my cooking day. Heads will roll, I tell ya!
Shika No we didn’t and now that we’re wiser, we do know. But our kids think they know everything, just like we did! What goes around, comes around I guess! One way or “tother!
LOL, Run, Cleo, Run!
I made some beef fajitas because I didn’t feel like eating lasagna. The cook didn’t feel like making lasagna so it wasn’t made with love and therefore not appetizing.
Hello Locos Ochos. I have had many fine seafood and vegetarian recipes while gone, but today was a day for LIlG’s mom to shine. While LilG worked, her mother and I went out to a little restaraunt in Coupeville, WA for breakfast, her favorite meal to eat out. I had an English muffin with fried egg and sausage patty, with the biggest sausage patty ever along with wonderful hash browns. For lunch we went to a place called Christopher’s , again in Coupeville, wher we all had the special, red snapper served on local Penn Cove mussels with tomatos, garlic and basil, it was wonderful. For desert they gave her, free of charge, a scoop of chocolate moose and a frozen homemade ice cream bar, with vanilla ice cream, bittersweet chocolate and caramel sauce with thin apple slices drizzled in chocolate.
Cleo, that all sounds so delicious! I’m glad you all had a great time. You’re making me miss WA. I really wish we could have moved back to WA instead of coming here to FL.
Dry, my sister is sending me one of those blender thingys that makes smoothies and whatnot from fruits and vegetables. It’s not the Jack Lalaine one, it’s the Montel Williams one. The HealthMaster.

My girls tell me that I’m senile, hah! So, does anyone want to adopt 3 girls? I’m keeping the youngest one.
Dry and Dusty Premium Member about 14 years ago
Sorry Carmy, 3 girls yet? Thanks but no thanks! :-D
carmy about 14 years ago
Dry, you don’t have to take all 3. You can take just one of them. It’s probably best to separate them anyway. That way they can’t gang up on someone.
