So did you get the tree? I have one growing in a pot, intended to use it for Bonzai, but of course, I never did! Now I’m keeping it for when my birch tree runs out of steam. It’s a minature, only to get 15’ tall, tops! Of course, my other half, has no clue what’s in the pot, or he would say, “We don’t need anything else for me to mow around! One of these days, it will disappear!”
This will be our 8th or 9th Japanese Maple. We bought a Fernleaf Full Moon Maple. the whole purpose of this tree is to block the telephone wires, etc. that we stare out at when we look at the lake. You can not block them entirely so what the …!
Dry, it is. We already have a full moon maple, but this one is different. Like I said we want it to grow up with no branches blocking the lake, but blocking as much of the telephone and power lines as possible.
Water regularly for the first 2 seasons! LOL, Cleo, you’ll always have the hose and water buckets in your hands! Pretty tree, looks kind of like mine, tho’ the leaves are a bit different in form.
