Buenos Dias mi Loco Amigos! I have some pirate coffee, pan de dulce (Mexican pastries), eggs any way you want them, hash browns, pork or turkey bacon, grits and oatmeal, fresh fruit and yogurts. Assorted juices and teas also. I conked out early yesterday, I was tired. i just read in the news that “As the World Turns” aired their last episode yesterday. The show had been on since 1956.

Buenos dias folks! I will have Pirate coffee, scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon and fresh fruit! I would like some yougurt, but someone who shall remain nameless says yogurt is not good for you! :-P

Hola Cleo y Dry! I don’t like yogurt. I had half a bagel with cream cheese and some chocolate milk. I was reading the Brownsville paper online and saw that they were dedicating a school to my high school principal. He’s 92! Wow!! Anyway, my favorite principal was from grade school, Bob Martin. He was the former high school football coach for Tom Landry. Mr. Martin used to tell me every year, “one more freckle and you’ll be beautiful.” Aw!!

how is it going today? i slept till 10 it was amazing!!! lol we had a birthday party for sweet pea last night. lol i made her a hat. she was so cute. poor pea girl thinks im crazy.

my dog mater thinks im the most evil mommy in the world. she cant eat ANYTHING till about 5 tonight. :( i gave her two slices of cheese becaue i had to get her to take her pils and her other med. but thats it. and she wont touch cheese again now. poor baby girl.

Our bathroom is now just a shell and next week our window will be installed. Hurray!

Yea, the window will be installed. What type of window, Cleo? I always wanted a stained glass window in my bathroom.

Carmy, LilG wanted a picture window and I wanted one that opens, so we compromised. It is a large window, approx. 40 x 46 and on one side a section that takes up about 1/3 of the vertical length of the window will open and 2/3 will be an expanse of glass.

The house that I owned before I met LilG had a bathroom off the master bedroom. A stained glass window was located inside the bedroom and bathroom wall.

i am cooking bbq. Yummy!!!! its smelling good. i have some chicken on the pit that is wraped in foil with red/orange, green, and yellow bell pepers oh and some onions. its gonna be good. we are hungry. oh and some hotdogs are done and a slice of ssauge. oh and some hamburgers are on the gril right now. yummy yummy yummy!!!

What time should the Locos Ochos arrive Tabby?

It just occurred to me that if everyone just dropped what they were doing, they would see me more often. I mean, I’m here. Where is everyone else?

Carmy and cleo At my home church, when they renovated, part of the old church ended up as washooms. The stained glass windows are gorgeous in there.

Keep in mind that the new church is next door, and that this is a cathedral sized building in an inner city.

We are on our way Tabby. Our Hawthorne is now history and our view of the lake is now so much better. Of course I can not convince LilG to leave that area treeless, but at least I will have the view for a few years until our Maple has filled in.

I spent the day freezing beans, (yes again!), cooking up tomatoes for freezing (easier these days than canning), and watching a horror flick “Joy Ride 2” with my youngest. (Hey, you take time spent together doing whatever at his age!).

Hello Dry. I just got back from a swim in the lake. I feel very refreshed.

I’ll bet you do Cleo! How was the temperature?

The lake is at 68 degrees and feels wonderful. Some may disagree. :-)

I don’t know if I would or not, probably would, 68 air temp is cool, but all I know is whether the water feels comfortable or not! LOL!

Did you do those peppers yet?

Someone gave me a bag of habaneros, plus more of my hot ones, and I bought some Cuban sweet frying peppers to mix in, I should do them tmr. Those will go in tomato paste, garlic, olive oil and maybe some onions. Those will go on sandwiches and with meat. I’ll be the only one able to eat them! :-D

Out here Dry, I do not know where to get Hungarian hot peppers. :-(

Then you should try another pepper? I thought you could get them since you wanted the recipe. Improvise! It is easier with peppers that have a long, semi-wide opening. And tastier if the peppers have at least a mild kick, but I have had them with sweet banana peppers as well. Improvise, my man!
