Another

road trip today going down the coast and back up the valley where I saw 68 (couny ‘em) degrees! About 400 miles with 5 stops. Better than yesterday’s trip through the SNOWY mountains! Cache gets his stitches AND cone removed in the AM. He’s excited!

Another slow day at Baldo. I guess I will go tackle the garbage and recycling and take advantage of it not raining at the moment.

I love it when birds that have been absent all winter return to the feeders. Today it was about two dozen pine siskin.

I’m really busy at work now, cleo, but I thought I would drop in quick.

cleo, I AM as excited as Cache! He is SO much happier now. Another 6 weeks and he will be 100% if I can keep him from going too crazy.

Six weeks will put Cache at the brink of summer, so he should be good to go for long runs on the beach. Good for you both.

It turned into a beautiful day here, warm and partly cloudy. It really felt like spring.

I was to busy with indoor activities to enjoy the day’s weather.

Dry, I did the recycling and garbage, as I mentioned and helped clean and reorganize the basement and then fixed dinner. It sounds like more work than it was. So…your day was busy at work?

I will be heading out soon to a local gardener’s meeting. It is set to run two hours. groan

Yes cleo I was VERY busy at work today. A Gardeners meeting, who is conducting it? Sounds like it could be very interesting! Take notes for me if they mention container gardening, asparagus or strawberries, okay? :-) Oh and raised beds.

Good news about Cache JFri!

I had a good day. OUr Greek class went to Greek restaurant for dinner. I had something called Exohiko which is lamb, feta cheese and spinach in a philo pastry. It came with potaoes, vegetables and Greek salal. It was delicious.

I’m going to have a bath and then get to bed early. I have to finish my thesis over the weekend, starting tomorrow.

I was up VERY late last night, got a call from a very old friend of mine, we were on the phone until 12:30 am! She lives in Colorado. Felt like I had a hangover this am from staying up so late! (NO I DIDN’T HAVE A HANGOVER, CLEO AND JFR)

Sorry Dry, it was a meeting on providing native plantings to support wildlife and attracting birds, butterflies, etc. I didn’t learn anything that I didn’t already know, but may get to know some of the attendees as they all live locally in the Friday Creek area.

JFri, Dry did have to much to drink. I think that she was actually drinking Pinot Grigio and flirting with Grigorio!.

Although she was talking about Grigorio like he was a wine. Referring to his good legs and nose and how he had a great body. The only thing she may need to take into consideration is that she said he was fruity with a floral bouguet.
