Δεν νομίζω Κοινή Ελληνική έχει μια κυριολεκτική μετάφραση για το “Good Morning”. Θα πω “Χαιρετίσματα!”

Akenta, I just use the modern Greek for here. So I will teach you how to say Good morning in Greek: google translate it!

I don’t think Koine Greek has a literal translation for “Good Morning”. They would say “Greetings!”

I have to get going again. Now that I am finished clesses, I have a million things to catch up on. Like my income taxes, housework, laundry and walking.

Shika I am off every Friday. Off from the office, there is always plenty of other work to be done! :-)

It is also a BEAUTIFUL DAY here as well. Tmr. it will be rain all day, warm, but rain, so my bedding is out on the line now, and most of this gorgeous day will be spent outdoors, starting now!

Hey! i just noticed above that the modern Greek word for translate is “metaphrasei”. It is different in Koine Greek. I need to look it up, but it is not “metaphasei”.

Sigh. I was translating Greek and parsing verbs all night. I hardly slept a wink!

I envy you and your clotheline. I love the smell of clothes off the line. Even radioactive clothes! ;-D

It is sunny out and as soon as I finish my lunch, I’ll be out of here for the day. Pub night tonight for the Grads! Free, on the student council budget. Got to love those student councils.

Town was okay, but I was doing a lot of running around. I went to four grocery stores looking for two ingredients.

I guess that I am talking to myself, but that’s okay. We are having a birthday dinner tonight for a friend of ours. LilG has known her for years, when they met up in Ketchikan. Her favorite desert is Boston Cream Pie, so both LilG & daughter visiting from West Virginia have made the dessert (10 eggs). I have made Taramaslata for an appetizer with Pita Chips and I have dough ready to go in the oven for fresh baguettes. Dinner is either veggie or seafood risotto.

What a GLORIOUS DAY! I won’t mind the rain tmr. because today was BEAUTIFUL! I clipped some of my daffodils and hyacinths for my flower vase. Yellows, whites and purples, very lovely and they smell heavenly! Oh I so love this time of year. GOODBYE WINTER!
