Stel, you really threw us a curve ball. I mean, this came right out of left field. Pawlie Doglass will never get to first base with Jeanie Pawters!

Well, well, well. Is it bassetball season already? Let’s see, Who’s on first, What’s on second…we don’t have a right fielder yet, let’s have Cleo play right field.

I would have to judge that some Grade-A squirrel-chasing there by Buddy. He must have run a good six feet up that tree.

Oooh, yes… it does happen every Spring….

a new bassetball movie, that is —

ever since the days when this one came out.

It’s been a long time…. but I remember this being a funny one, though.

Some sort of impossible chemical reaction creates a kind of rubber that’s repelled by wood….

perfect for “hitting” bassetballs amazing distances, of course…

which turns a nerdy professor into a bassetball star.

Seems like an obvious precursor to the “flubber” created in a much later Dogsney comedy….

which may have kinda sorta borrowed the idea.

Doesn’t Jeanie look adorable in her little blue skirt, and purply eye shadow?

Just imagine humans copying a movie where they have to chase balls!

They just it them with the sticks and wait around for them to come to them.

Not half the action of a bassetball game.

    Why bother?

    Stel’s poster is way better!

Paul Doglas was in another baseball film called Angels In the Outfield. The team’s fowl balls were almost equal to Doglas’ fowl language. But nothing could top Janet Stay. She was fall down and play dead gorgeous.

Thanks, StelBel!! Can’t wait for the season to start. But, I wonder why you changed Lloyd Bacon’s name. Is bacon something dog’s can’t eat?

Who (that doesn’t own a dog) knew?
