Yes, this was a great Basset movie (well it was a great Basset poster, anyway). In Canine color and Hounderscope!.

We see from Connie’s example how easy it can be to brighten someone’s day. Flowers, a blue ribbon, a certificate. Make someone happy, as Tower of Power put it.

You have got to love the sparklies in Cursula’s hair.

    Those bedroom eyes and

    that sultry air.

Cleo comes alive – unlike Gracie’s sketch of Edgar.

    Oh…. I remember this movie!

    Ursula Undress was quite the…. um…. the….

that word that we’re not supposed to use here.

The word humans use for…. well…. a kinda growly female who bites…..

even though it really only means… um… female dog who’s ready to have your puppies…. va-va-voom.

    She who must be obeyed.

And yeah, the humans did try to copy it…..

Dennis, please forgive me for putting up a different poster….

But I think this is the one that really copied Stel’s work….

    https://www.ianvisits.co.uk/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/she_quad.jpg

Though, strangely, the taglines are on the one you found.

And the human bi…. er…. I mean, the human female doesn’t even have a name.

    Just “She.”

You can tell that the actress who plays her doesn’t have the “va-va-voom” of Ms. Undress, either….

The poster artist had to paint her costume ripped down to there, just to try to enhance her charms.

And human posters don’t even have glitter.

No wonder I’m a fan of basset movies.

Love today’s poster! Stel, you are amazing! Of course, the best part is all the sparklies! And, I think our Cleo would agree about the tagline of “CLEO who must be obeyed”!!!
