Been there, done that, Tony. But YOU are outdoors, in HIS territory. I prefer to do battle with them indoors, on MY turf.

It’s thoughtful of NH to do a tribute to Gene Wilder. I believe that of the principals in that movie, only Teri Garr survives.

The thrill of the hunt! And when it is over, likely without success, your newspaper is a buch of crumpled balls.

It is a lovely tribute to Gene Wilder…. but….ahem … it isn’t Nighthawks who did it, so thoughtfully….

Like almost all of the Tuesday/Thursday posters, with their renditions of basset actors….

    it was created by StelBel!

See…. down there in the lower left corner… “Girouard, Sept 1, 2016.”

    That’s Candi Girouard, aka StelBel.

And I’m not pointing that out just because StelBel is the Queen of Tampering and very powerful and probably has a sharp pair of scissors in her hands….

though it never hurts to remember that.

And it can hurt to forget.

It is beautifully done, as well…..

and more interesting to look at than this human poster….

And yes, of all the principal actors, and many of those in smaller roles, only Teri Garr survives…. and she has been having a long battle with multiple sclerosis.

I believe all the basset actors are fine….

including Gene Wildcur… who is not pictured because the cast is posing for a tribute to his human counterpart/imitator (depending upon who you ask).

And I love Barky Feldbasset too!

    Those eyes….

That is one scary looking basset. Everyone is afraid of him.

This is one of my all-time favorite posters, Stel. You’ve managed to catch the lunacy of all the characters. Except Dr. Frankenshteen. Couldn’t you do anything with his Wilder hair?

A great tribute and a great poster.
