Cleo is looking especially fetching in this one. How can Johnny Paws possibly resist her?

    Hey, everybody!

Here we are again….. ready to post our comments on

the Jan 29th  2019 “CLEO and COMPANY”

Another bee-ooo-tiful poster by StelBel, on Sherpa

    http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy

    “Springtime in Cleveland!”

And just when we’re all way more than ready for Spring….

This being a rerun…. with a wonderful cast of favorite stars….

I hope no one minds if I re-run some of what I said when it appeared before… with a bit of editing.

    What a cast!

Betty Kibble…. with her purplie eye shadow, her pearls…. and of course, her famous million-dollar legs…

they may be short but they’re the shapely stuff of basset-sailor dreams.

Johnny Paws… never achieved the lasting fame he deserved….. but a singing and dancing dreamboat in his day….

even next to the silky-smooth Little Cesar Romero!

Carmen Grranda.. wow… how did she dance so well, to that fast Latin beat, while holding up that amazing tower of kibble and Milk Bones on her hat?

And Charlotte Dogbone! An old favorite of mine…. tall and thin for a basset, she could kick her little legs straight up in the air!

And many more…. a real, old-style Howlywood extravaganza!

Whoa…. once again, I see that the humans made a version as well.

That blonde human woman just doesn’t fill out a gown like Betty Kibble, does she?

And of course, none of the humans have those long, soft ears.

Francis is looking like I felt this morning….

But I’ve untwisted a bit by now.

I think I can walk to the Tiki….

what say we all untwist… or at least unwind… over yak burgers or veggie burgers and pie!

And a beer for those as wants one.

Francis was thinking about that clip he saw of the Ross Sisters and he pulled a ham string.

I still giggle a lot seeing Little Cesar Romero dancing! For being such a bad boy in so many of his movies, this is a treat.

    Love today’s poster, Stel.

I had a strange day today as well. My 9 a.m. patient showed up at 2 p.m. My 10 was fine. My 11 (who called yesterday to ask the time and said “OK” when I told her 11) showed up at 1:30. She called at about 1:15 when I was with my 1:00 patient to say she was on the way. She waited to talk to me, but I had to see my 2:00 person first and she left. I couldn’t have seen her anyway since she needed an hour appointment and I had someone on at 2:45 for testing after a MD visit (but he didn’t show up).
