Looks like he’s trying to herd cats.

Russell can’t sleep, knowing there are strays out there.

The lamp and the paintings are pretty wild! Mid-century Ballardian! Who’s running Ballard Lighting and Appliance Hauling, anyway? Is it you, Grog? Or Roaming 26-37?

Psst! Nobody mention the p…….. ruffles and p……. lipstick. Nighthawks is in a delicate state.

Well done, Stel! Love the glittery cheeks, not to mention the p……. accents.

Elisha Currbert – clearly a star among the stars.

If I were Russel, I’d resent being told to go to bed at his age.

    Hi everybody…. I’m here!

And we’re posting our comments on

the Feb 7th  2019 “CLEO and COMPANY”

A pretty basset fairy (!) poster by StelBel, on Sherpa

    http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy

    Ooooh, Stel!

    Elisha Currbert, eh?

I’m unfamiliar with her… but what a delicate little thing she is, for a basset hound…

    And so sparkly!

And she looks good in…you know…purp….um…. lavenderish.

Oh… I do remember when you showed us this poster before… and I looked and looked for a human version, to no avail.

Then I found one done as an art project….

Apparently an art student saw the basset movie,

and decided to create a poster just to show what it might have looked like with a human star…

    http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-w68_oqFy5ng/T2vFoq27KcI/AAAAAAAAFSA/aMNhH88aJlo/s1600/nicole-antonian-disney-movie-posters_page_03.jpg

    She’s okay…. but she’s just no basset.

BTW…. about last night…. I  didn’t disappear, on the off-chance anybody wondered…. but apparently the comment I made did.

Sigh… the wonders of the internet… it’s possible I just typed it up and never actually submitted it…

or maybe I did, but it was before I noticed I was offline.

At some point I went nuts for half an hour trying to figure out what was wrong with my connection….

till I figured out I’d accidentally unplugged my modem, by kicking out the plug… (hangs head).

I usually check my comments before I close the page, though… so it’s strange.

Didn’t find out till the wee hours when I came back to check for replies… ohhhh….

Don’t worry, Russell…. we strays are a-headin’ on in.

Ohhhh. I just love a good sparklie, lavenderish, fairy tale! Stel got the “come hither” look just right. Can’t wait until we all gather around the Tiki Room for the premier.
