I like the squirrel’s “yuk yuk” as though it’s poking fun at Cleo, nyah nyah, lol.

Be careful that she doesn’t drag you along under the snow!

    Hi, everybody!

Running even later than I was a few minutes ago….

cos the time changed while I was typing!

Welcome to the “CLEO and COMPANY” comments, and, if you’re in the US or Canada…. to daylight time!

Today we’re discussing the March 10th  2019 strip

    It’s on Sherpa

    http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy

BTW… I keep meaning to explain how Cleo gets those big weapons out so fast.

The Cliffords live in a smallish house…. Cleo is a short dog…

    Yet somehow… poof! A tank appears, or a bazooka…. or a….whatever this is….

I’m not up on weapons…. looks like a cross between a teeny howitzer and a telescope…. but I know one of you will tell me.

Anyway… it came out of nowhere.

That’s because, as a card-carrying member of the Cartoon Dogs Union…. a branch of the Cartoon Characters Union….

Cleo is entitled to a certain amount of what is known in the toon world as “Hammerspace.”

It’s where Wiley Coyote stores his dynamite, and his giant mallets…

Bugs keeps a lot of carrots…. some characters even store potholes and other negative spaces! None of it visible till they pull it out, at a moment’s notice.

The thing is… it takes an awful lot of it to hide tanks and taco carts…. so I worry that Cleo’s in danger of using up her allotment, or being fined…. and it isn’t cheap.

Oh well… I suppose to a well paid Sherpa cartoonist like Nighthawks, the huge fines won’t matter.

I guess some dogs love snow. Please give them mine.

I know I’m lucky not to live where I have to deal with it….. and we just had several years of drought, so I’d hate to complain about these weeks of endless rain.

I will allow, though, that am very ready for later sunsets.

But I shouldn’t be up now!

Are Cleo and Cybil (Lio) cousins? They both seem to have quite the arsenal!

Cleo better watch out. That tree rat could be of the flying persuasion! (Although her bark sure sounded ominous.)

MMM won’t be coming home yet. His oxygen level is way too low when they take him off of it. :((

Glad to see Cleo is wearing her ear protection prior to firing the big gun. Hearing aids on dogs are not particularly successful.

Cleo means business with that tree rat, er, squirrel. Our snow is covered in ice, so no dog would be able to dive in.
