Bet you’re glad that cows don’t fly, Ted.

I had an observation about bombs falling, a very good one, but rereading it, good as it was and noted with the movies and TV shows, I figure it would get me flagged as a terrorist, and not just by goComics. So…it’s a cow.

Ten years ago, fans were speculating that Ted was looking up at an approaching cow. But why would he be smiling? Maybe he is looking up at one of Susan’s blackberry pies! That would be worth a smile!

Good evening/morning/afternoon (depending on your arrival time) Cleo puzzlers…

    including newbies….. welcome.

It appears to be a new puzzle this week, and in accord with the theme for this week…. except there’s nary a basset in sight.

    See for yourself….

in the May 25th  2019 “CLEO and COMPANY”

    on Sherpa: http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy

Solve it online, either there, or with my side-by-side version….

    https://i.postimg.cc/kMkgcXS7/Cleo-nine-differences-May-25th-19.png

Or do as I do, save it and open it in MS Paint or another drawing application, so you can mark or circle the differences.

Dunno what race attendance cost, back in 1920…. but I bet it was fairly expensive….

At least, judging by the fact that it was another 25 cents for a program….

pretty steep for 1920, when postage stamps and newspapers were both about 2 cents apiece.

Dennis… thanks for the vote of confidence in my blackberry pies!

About 17 of them just came out of the oven for my pie shop…. and about 23 boysenberry.

Have a piece on me… we could all meet there today.

Of course, there are many more varieties… hope everybody thinks that’s a good idea!

But as for Ted…. I see that curved line as the bottom of his chin…

I’d say the straight-across line under his towering nose is his mouth.

    Oh… and Ted…..

    We all are.

We all are, and there’s nothing much we can do about it.

So if I’m wrong about your chin, and you are smiling…. I’m right there with you.

    Might as well, right?

While everyone races toward to finish, I’ll just pass on ahead and post the solution to today’s Cleo & Co. puzzle.

Hooray! The Indy500 is almost here! Unfortunately the rain forecast is not too good……….80% chance for tomorrow! Say it isn’t so, Nighthawks!

I love today’s poster! But, where is the 9th difference? I only found the first 8, and by looking at X’s animation, I also only see 8! OOPPSS!

Love the yellow brick race track. It sure is built for speed! Just look at this driver……only his back wheels are on the ground. He’s just invented “popping a wheelie”!

And, Susan. There really are bassets in this program…..they’re all sitting in the stands. They had to depict the speed of this race car, so the stands are blurred.

Found the ninth one and then lost it again — maybe there’s something in your circling idea, Susan…

We just got home, and I saw Perky’s comment about 9 differences. Well, I think it might be my eyes, but I think I see two in one. Wasn’t quite sure. Sooooooo I guess I’ll count that as 9. (Hooray…..our Nighthawks can count after all.) (or at least, I can see after all)
