All the 2009 posters agree that this is a great idea. I wonder if they remember what they posted…

I also envy Prudence. If only such a service were available.

Nice tribute for Decoration Day, Cleo. Now, unless you have flowers, don’t “decorate” any of those headstones. (I know, you are not a boy).

Fitting remembrance. Reminiscent of the Normandy-American Cemetery at Colleville-sur-mer.

    As for yesterday’s Indy 500:

the experience of being there as opposed to TV is pretty dramatic……what TV doesn’t show are the sounds, the smells,

the rush of air, the feel of the start, which is hard to describe.

All and all it was a fun time , but since there was little passing it made for a long afternoon of ‘follow the leader’,

until the no-holds-barred battle for millions of dollars and tons of life-long recognition as an Indy winner.

Everybody was trying to save fuel for the final few laps….but in the end, the fastest car/driver combination triumphed.

My bicycle ride home in between lines of traffic trying to go home was kind of exciting too. I’m glad nobody

opened up their car doors or changed lanes at the wrong time for me as I glided in-between the cars at speed, dodging

and weaving through the many folks on foot

This is the only bike ride I do all year; it’s also an interesting experience!

Thank you NH for your very appropriate Gardens of Stone!

And from me, a big THANK YOU to all who serve and have served and have made the ultimate sacrifice to make our country great!
