I love Ballard Street. I just hope this cartoonist doesn’t live on my street. He’d make fun of me in this strip. That’s my understanding of this strip. He’s making fun of his neighbors.

I haven’t solved it yet, but I have no reason to believe there are any more or less than nine differences….

Besides… has Nighthawks ever led us astray?

 

For anybody confused by any similarities to previous day’s strips….

And the green dinosaur isn’t Bassetzilla either.

I kinda hate to point this out….

but if I were Aubry, and Rusty were hanging right there in front of me like that….

trapped, struggling, and no doubt increasingly agitated….

Well…. I don’t want to put too fine a point on it….

But I don’t think I’d stand that close.

Not right there.

And not with…um…. my face…. turned…. in that particular direction.

 

Some of you new to Ballard Street may look at that, and be tempted to question why Aubry…. or anybody… would let Rusty play basketball, anyway.

But we old-timers here don’t ask.

For one thing. we know that Ballard Street dogs often play sports….

Just the other day, we saw Reggie at bat.

And for another…. here on Ballard Street, we just don’t ask questions like that.

 

Ballard Street is a place where dogs can drive cars, tend bar, and be real estate agents or deputies….

After all, my boss at the Tiki is a monkey, and he’s also our elected Sheriff.

Which reminds me….

Where are you, Monkey??!

 

Anyhow…. not many puzzlers here yet, so even though I finished it quite a while ago,

I’m going to hold off on posting the gif….

it just seems too early.

 

Come on in, you guys… there’s fresh blueberry cream pie at the Tiki.

Sigh…. this emptiness is unusual….

and it’s getting too late for anyone else to show up before morning….

So I guess I’ll post the solution and go to bed.

 

I have to beg and plead, you know, to get these gifs for you….

They’re stel being provided by our semi-anonymous gifmaker, who thinks I Can bi a bit pushy….

They’re precious…. better treat this one carefully.

Besides being protected by a basset known to carry RPG’s, it contains a huge dinosaur, a fierce pterodactyl and a lava pit….

So if I were you, I wouldn’t peek … or forget and use Neil’s GC Links…. before trying to solve the puzzle.

I’ve found 5 of them so far. I’ll have to come back later to see if I can find the others. I did find a difference in the main page yesterday. They removed “The worst thing I’ve ever done” comic. So, they are starting to fix things. They should have moved it to Sherpa. That way, everybody could start reading all the old ones from the prehistoric days of the early 2000’s.

Poor Rusty. Stuck in that net for 10 years? Sheesh

I’m still working on differences, but what I really want to know is where and how did they find that prehistoric brick wall?

Update: Get to yank the bandage off today. Fun times…

While today’s puzzle looks quite intriguing, I have to give it a pass for a while. Cleaning lady will be here soon and we have to escape for a bit. See ya.

I’m back. We bought out the entire Costco store (or so it seems) So now I have time to enjoy today’s puzzle.

WooHoo! I got all 9! This must be my lucky day!

What I want to know, is, what is Dino doing standing in that tree?

I can only find eight differences. I think the 9th one is that Claude is using a different tone of voice.
