Hmm, that might be a good idea; he lives on the same street as Scooter, the “tiny quilt” shop, and Heaven knows what else.

    Whew! And welcome, everybody!

GoComics has had me locked out again, since half an hour before the turn….

and I feared not being able to post….

But all of a sudden it started working…. and just in time to save you all from missing the Saturday puzzle…

which has not yet posted, in the Sept21st  2019 “CLEO and COMPANY”

Hopefully, it will soon show up on Sherpa

    http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy

But meanwhile… you may have at it by using my side by side version.. .

    ttps://i.postimg.cc/SxL0GrNW/Cleo-nine-differences-Sept-21st-19.png

And in a while, I’ll have a gif for you too.

    Well, I already have it….

I’m just not posting it quite yet.

Solve away… and come back to discuss.

    Yikes….

I just discovered that the first “H” is missing in my link above….

Hopefully, some of you would have realised that, and typed it in….

but for the rest of you… this huge crowd milling around me right now….

    Here’s the corrected link:

    https://i.postimg.cc/SxL0GrNW/Cleo-nine-differences-Sept-21st-19.png

Gosh…. please form an orderly line…. there’s plenty of puzzle to go around!

I know everyone is friendly here…. but with so many people jostling each other all around me, I’m tempted to order a protective cage like Mortimer’s.

They have them readymade at Ballard Hardware and Books….

but it’s only a few dollars more to order a bespoke one, cut to fit, from Angelina’s Custom Clothes and Cages.

If you want to measure yourself, you can order it online….

AngelinasCCC.com ….but I’d just as soon let her do it in person.

So, last night it apparently was not Nighthawks job to post the day’s Cleo & Co. But tonight, surely it is HIS TURN. So again, someone go rap on his driver’s side window and wake him up.

Very tricky one today, NH. Subtle. I think one of the diffs is that in one image he is grilling steaks, while in the other he is grilling pork chops.

    Where is everybody tonight?

No offense, Liverlips, Tigressy, Grog…. glad to see you!

But where are the rest of the usual suspects?

We’ve got a puzzle to do!

Getting drowsy so I guess it’s time to post the gif…

As far as I know, the first time…. well, to be on the safe side I’ll say one of the first times….

the solution has been posted before the official puzzle.

    Hope I’m not in trouble!

The semi-anonymous gifmaker and I wish to remind you that this occurrence does NOT mean you’re allowed to look at the gif now, and the puzzle later.

If you have some problem with using my side-my-side (sniffle) … and wish to wait for Nighthawks’ post…

you peek ahead of time at your own peril.

It’s a very special gif, designed to explode if viewed before your own attempt at a solution.

What…. you’re going to challenge that statement?

    It didn’t explode?

Are you admitting to trying to cheat?

    OK… stand back….

I watched it again and had hopes that this one would be the extended version where Fat Cat visits Dogfather and uses that Forbes magazine on him and they fall in love and run off to Hawaii to live. The audience would have been screaming at the surprise ending to the movie.

    Before I go…

    @Farside, whenever you show up…

Haven’t had a chance to get back and say thanks for the heads up on the Monty Python anniversary…

I might check it out, though I’m not sure…. I don’t go to many events, especially at pubs… but this one is going to be in the street as well.

It’s not till mid October, anyway.

    I can’t quite picture the location…. I know the block but don’t remember a pub there… then again… I often don’t realise how long it’s been.

One thing I do know is that parking close will be very difficult in that area.

Apparently, they’ve done this festival every year… this one is the 9th, but just happens to coincide with the Python’s 50th anniversary.

There’s a local troupe of imitators…. I guess like a comedy tribute band… and this year an amateur Python skit contest, which will either be fun or excruciating.

I mostly don’t like imitators or tribute bands… but I LOVE the Elvis imitators every other year at the county fair…. and this isn’t music anyway.

Thanks for remembering about the pics…

Yeah… I pasted my head into a strip, and I’ve used that image in a lot of different ways…

one as recently as my re-doing of part of Stel’s last Mardi Gras poster:

    https://i.postimg.cc/LsgttZhf/Me-and-Millie-Mardi-Gras.png

Then Nighthawks more famously redrew it…

and he and StelBel made this wonderful animation that I am fortunate to have show up sometimes for my birthday.

    Now that’s a silly walk.

Okay! I gave up with only 8. Bummer. And, in looking at the semi-anonymous gif maker’s solution, the one I missed was easy!!! The shame!

I like the way Cleo is looking obediently for just a little scrap. Can’t you just see her little dance? And the drool? Come on, Claude, send a piece down to Cleo.
