But it’s so much more fun and creative to boil water over an open fire…

…and you can’t have an open fire in the kitchen.

FishStix At least you hope they’ll be back in the kitchen soon. Heat might make the snow slippery.

You just can’t smoke your tea if it’s made in the kitchen. A wood fire, preferably apple wood is the best for this Earl Grey tea. In fact, I’m going to have to build a hood over the fire to help keep the smoke in for greater flavor.

This has to be total fiction. I’ve never seen a basset turn green, even after eating some things that I thought would upset even a buzzard.

Cleo’s – er, that is – the Vampire’s nose is the sort of thing I usually miss. But, for some reason, not this time. The “eyes” embedded there and the “hands” creeping in from the sides make for a very chilling poster indeed. Lovely work, Stel Bel.

Why would anyone want to give an interview with a vampire. – especially during the evening hours?

Cleo the vampire is also waiting in anticipation for two months from now when she gets her early Christmas present. She will get to see the change date on Sherpa get changed from 2019 to 2020. Nothing else will happen, but at least she will get to see the date changed, again.

Egads! It’s October already! The leaves are changing, the snow is melting, and the scary movie posters are back in full swing.

I think the only Halloween movie I truly enjoy is Casper. Harrumph.
