Naturally, the Cliffords HAD to take Cleo to the festival. One can well imagine the influence Audrey Hepbasset may have had on the young, aspiring Starlet Cleo Clifford. An inspiration, certainly.

WOW! I am so happy to see that Cleo and Company is still on. on the first of the year it seemed to me that it was dropped from surpa and I could not find it for days. So today I checked it and WOW you are back.What happened that you were down? holiday?

to the Jan 23rd  2020 “CLEO and COMPANY”

featuring one of my favorite StelBel works… not a movie poster, per se….

but the scene as Claude, Clara, and Cleo arrive at the glamorously renovated Parahound Theater, during its wonderful Audry Hepbasset film festival!

Tigressy posted the human copies of the two posters in front…. with some other “Audrey,” who is obviously no dog….

I can’t quite make out the one with the sign that says “Now Playing”, so I haven’t found it yet.

It happened again tonight…. my comics pages started opening…. but when Sherpa was halfway loaded, everything froze…

I had the page frame for Cleo, but not the strip.

I could read yesterday’s forum, and even posted one quick comment, but then the “replies” and “like” buttons froze…

Just when I was ready to give up, and shut down, all of a sudden, it all started to work…

and when I saw Cleo, I knew I had to comment, in spite of the late hour.

Since it’s well after two in the morning, it’s too late to go to the Parahound… the last film got out at 1:34 am.

But they’re playing several times each, so I guess I’ll try for a matinee tomorrow… “today” for most of you reading this…

Anybody want to come?

I have a couple of coupons for the snack bar… buy two Festival Tickets (even senior ones), and get two small soft drinks and two medium kibblecorns for $2!

These are two of our favorite movies, Stel. So good to see them together at the ParaHound Theater. My toes will be tapping the whole time.

I just hate when my toes keep tapping. That means they’ll be up all night
