‘Morning, ejcapulet. Always nice to have you back.
Thanks, Marg, it’s really nice to be back to my normal schedule.
Stewart! Watch the road!
She always says that !!
She’s unable to accompany him because she’s in the hospital with throat injuries.
Does he use the HOV lane with the pseudo-Phoebe?
That’s just the right amount of commentary from Phoebe, says Stewart.
Meanwhile, back in the jungle:

OK, I know the difference between the jungle and the savannah. So write a song I can quote about the savannah! Sheesh.
Cleo is a female, so I would expect to see her in the hunting scenes, not in the post feeding naptime!
I have to agree with Katrina, this Farside windowshade is getting to be a pain in the butt.
Mind the cyclist, Richard.
Hyacinths, the cyclist is on the other side of the road.
Don’t get snippy, Richard.
Minding the cyclist.
And now they call her Fat Basset.
Wow… One night, ancient Egypt…
The next, the modem day savannah….
Last week… who knows where… but possibly near the Nile, with Indy.
All just part of our tour of the African continent, in Cleo and Company on Sherpa.
Today, the mighty bassets prowl, in the February 21st 2020 strip.
Ok… Maybe not prowl, exactly.
Lie about and yawn.
And eventually pounce, when the kibble bags get too weak to fight.
Nonetheless… It’s an exciting glimpse of wild life in a part of the world we seldom see.
Look at those majestic creatures
Look at the TONGUE on that thing!
That little bag of kibble had better catch up with the herd, or it doesn’t stand a chance!

With a pack of bassets after it, a bag of Kibble doesn’t stand a chance! The wild Alpo does OK if it stays in the carton, but a lone can in the wild is definitely looking at quick annihilation.
@SusanSunshine: I think Aunty Acid is talking to you

Gotta love fresh killed kibble.
I loved the “Unsuspecting herd of kibble” line. I’m glad Nighthawks and Stel had them running off the panel. They were so cute.
I slept in this morning, but all those bassets napping……………..
Hey anyone seen the new Far Side Site. I love the Carmen Miranda reunion strip at the bottom.
I saw this on fb. I’m not pushing a product here (!!!), I just thought that the cartoon was kinda apropos.
…kinda. :D
