Poor Neal, he was unaware of the new wardrobe battle between his boxer shorts and his pants. The boxers wanted to be more visible, not so said the pants. Finally, the belt withdrew support of his pants and pulled out..

    Oooh, look, everybody!

Today we get to comment on a beeeotiful poster from StelBel….

in the March 10th  2020 “CLEO and COMPANY” on Sherpa.

celebrating the Spring that will surely be here any minute….

    Beautiful, Stel!

    “Springtime in Cleveland!

    What a cast!

Betty Kibble…. with her um… purplish(?) eye shadow, her pearls…. and of course, her famous million-dollar legs…

they may be short but they’re the shapely stuff of basset-sailor dreams.

Johnny Paws… never achieved the lasting fame he deserved….. but a singing and dancing dreamboat in his day….

even next to the silky-smooth Little Cesar Romero… with the fur you just can’t resist.!

Carmen Grranda.. wow… how did she dance so well, to that fast Latin beat, while holding up that amazing tower of kibble and Milk Bones on her hat?

And Charlotte Dogbone! An old favorite of mine…. tall and thin for a basset, she could kick her little legs straight up in the air. We just saw her in Oklahounda.

And so many more…. a real, old-style Howlywood extravaganza!

As Tigressy also discovered…. the humans copied this film, as well.

I had already found a poster for it when I saw your comment, Tigressy…. so I wasn’t going to upload it.

But I hope you don’t mind if I do, cos I think this one copied Stel a bit more closely…

Well…. except for stuffing theirs full of other humans, in the background… probably cos they lack all those great basset stars.

Say… that blonde human woman just doesn’t fill out a gown like Betty Kibble, does she?

And of course, none of the humans have those long, amazingly soft ears…. sigh….

I must see “Springtime in Cleveland”. It looks like it would be a good production.

Good morning Balladeers, Plods and Miss Susan!

I love all the singing and dancing and Hairy James’ trumpet. At least in this production, they sing the title song….Springtime in Cleveland. In the human version, that title song was never part of it. Harrumph!

    Thanks, Stel.
