Claude doesn’t seem to appreciate how hard a basset hound has to work to dunk a … a… well, OK, even a donut.

My 150 pound brother, who never quite made 6 feet, and always gave his height as 5’ 11 3/4", used to complain that he was too short to dunk.

Well, how about a one-foot-tall dog at give or take 50 pounds?

That’s double the pounds per foot.

Shouldn’t that excuse a little coffee on the floor?

OK… maybe a lot of coffee.

But still.

The main thing is, though…. Claude never seems to get it….

Cleo can not, will not, never wants to, never could, ever, do anything the same way anyone else does…
