He has a scepter, he must be a leader.

One of life’s great lessons is that nearly all of the things that are important to us are important only to us – ol’ Colin hasn’t twigged to that yet.

Man, if you get a disgusted look from your dog, you’re sure not a leader…. :)

Isn’t that pit full yet??? I thought Cleo dumped some of them in there last year, too.

If you are fast enough to run to the front of the crowd, you can be a leader too.

Ballard Pattern Baldness. Alas, it happens to them all.

Wonder where that drop takes them? The Bat Cave? Yeah, right!

A life lesson tonight… on the unexpected dangers of caroling…

In the December 18th… (omg it’s the 18th already?) 2020 “Cleo and Company”

    On Sherpa:

    http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy

Don’t trust every cute little doggie you see!

We have learned a lot from this strip, over the years, haven’t we.

A sweet basset smile, or the friendly wag of a tail, can hide a bazooka…

or simply the means to drop you into a big hole.

    What happens down there, anyway?

I like to think it’s a nice finished basement, with hot cider, warm cookies, and fresh popped kibblecorn.

    But I’ll have a feeling it’s… Not.

I thought I remembered Cleo saying something to Claude the other day,

About how he’d be sorry he removed the trapdoor…

    But I can’t find it.

Maybe it was in the comments.

If so, this strip precedes that.

But maybe he did, cos the little cellar got too full of carolers. Or EX carolers.

    Eek! Not a Christmasy thought.

I’m sure Clara just got tired of baking so many cookies.

    That’s it… I’m sure.

Funny… I was the first one here from 2020… But it takes me a while to type.

When I surfaced again, Farside and Dennis, you were asking the same questions.

I think someone needs to investigate!

    Just… not me, ok?

As for Colin… all sceptered up and nowhere to go …

And no one to lead there.

    Ain’t that life?

May I say that I and, I feel sure, all the other regulars here on this desert outpost wish Nighthawks and Stel Bel the happiest of holidays as well. Make it as merry as you can under the circumstances.. You have made it this far. Don’t give up now.

That guy in the middle reminds me of Mark Harmon (Leroy Jethro Gibbs). Is the NCIS after Cleo?

Since Claude isn’t around to “push the button”, Cleo gets to do the honors.

And……………Nighthawks favorite phrase is uttered without the “P” word being spoken.

I have been watching so many Christmas movies (what else have I go to do?) that when they start singing Christmas carols, I have to fast forward. Enough already. That being said, Happy Holidays to everyone here. And a special Thanks and Happy Holidays to Nighthawks and StelBel!

My early gift was a call yesterday at noon from my last patient on Tuesday. Positive COVID test on Wednesday. Had to leave work early and now on time out until Sunday when I can take a test. If I’m negative, I can go somewhere other than the house. At least I got to clean today. Laundry and more cookies on tap for tomorrow and appointment for a rapid test Sunday at 9:16 a.m. (such a weird time).
