I always suspected that I was, but it took a courageous comic author to confirm it.

Aside from that, I think that the sign would be far more effective if Jerry had not used the contraction.

    You ARE a bad person!!

Jumping in here in place of the Jan 30th comic, Jan 31st will have to serve for both days.

This is a tough one. I mean, I may have an underlying guilty feeling, but I don’t need to be confronted with this anonymous accusation.

I could imagine a cartoon where Neal is looking in multiple directions, and everywhere he looks he gets the same message. Now that would give anyone pause.

Meanwhile it is puzzle night in the Clifford household, a peaceful domestic scene. Clara actually looks pleased with the idea that she should be the exclusive cook.

    Whew!

And welcome to the Jan 30th, 2021 “Cleo and Company,” which is mislabeled on my side-by-side because ….

well, because I didn’t make it here last night and got mixed up. Sigh…

When I saw it was the 31st on Ballard Street, and read what Dennis said, I really got confused.

But no…EVERY Saturday we post on the next day’s strip, and come back for Sunday.

it’s actually Saturday, the 30th now, and, as ever, we’ll post here again tomorrow, because Ballard Street is only 6 days a week.

Monday, we’ll be right where we’re supposed to be, on January 32nd.

    See? I get it.

Meanwhile… Claude let Cleo have the yolks.

That’s his job… I was surprised he handed it over easy.

    Usually, she’d be toast.

In re: the Doughboy… I actually thought Claude was not quite as paunchy as in some strips…

but I suppose it depends on where you’re looking and on which old strips you remember.

Clara might be on a diet though… and cheating by hiding a pile of kibble in her slippers.

    I know, I know… they’re just fuzzy.

Maybe it’s me who’s imagining food, because I’m hungry.

But I don’t want a rustled omelet… the chicken ranchers might be coming after me…

and I took the eggs out of their original carton, so I can’t show them their brand.

Oh… about the puzzle…. in case you haven’t figured out…

a couple of the differences are pretty subtle.

But I did find nine… ad AFAIK, there are only nine.

I guess I’d better post the solution, for those of you who are ready to check.

But NOT to cheat…. don’t be a bad egg…. not like Neal.

I thought several of the differences were pretty small, not just one.

Hope you enjoyed the hunt, like I did, and found them all.

    Ok, puzzle gang…. A slight complication…

And I want you guys to know that I’m NOT AWAKE…

or I shouldn’t be, anyway… so please excuse any typos or whatever.

Went to bed at dawn… now using my tablet… (which of course I also shouldn’t be) …

I found an email from Tigressy pointing or that I had somehow neglected to circle one difference…

She’s right…. And I don’t know how that happened, because it was the last one I found,

and I KNOW I circled it at one point, because it was difficult, and I remember.

Only guess what…. The one Tigressy found, which I had missed, is NOT the same one I found and failed to circle.

    So there are TEN DIFFERENCES.

I’m WAY too tired to get up and make a new solution on my computer.

So I just figured out a way, sort of, on this tablet, with an app I didn’t know would do it.

The two “new” ones have squares around them, as thin as this app will draw them, and aren’t as precisely placed as I can usually manage, but they should give you the idea.

@ Tigressy… thank you…. and you have one more to find!

So does everybody who found nine…. Sigh.

I finally found all the differences. I don’t think anybody works at gocomics on the weekends. I have to constantly hit the forward arrow on almost every comic. Maybe after they delete Sherpa, they’ll be ab;e to keep the main page updated.

So this begs a couple questions. What did Cleo do to empty her supply of Anti-tank missiles? And why does Cleveland have a store dedicated to anti-tank missiles?

I’m guessing that Cleo used up her anti-tank missiles on the last visit by Bassetzilla.

Hi Dennis…. Welcome back…. along with the rest of our Cleo family…

to the January 28th, 2021 “Cleo and Company” on Sherpa.

I’ll answer your questions, and raise you one.

Cleo no doubt did what Cleo does…. discharged them inappropriately…

There were no tanks, so she took out a few neighborhood cats and squirrels, maybe a possum or a gopher as well.

And Cleveland has a missle store because…. A, Cleo lives there, and B, because it’s in a cartoon.

    Now,,my question is…

Why the &?%£! ¡$@#! do these fools, much as I like them, keep indulging her?

Do Claude and Clara need foot surgery?

The must be SOMETHING wrong with their feet, because they always seem afraid to put them down.

I have some questions about Al’s Anti-tank Missiles, as shown in the Jan. 31 Cleo & Company. Why specialize in “anti-tank” missiles? Why not diversify into other sorts of missiles as well? What kind of local zoning by-laws allow a store like Al’s? You’ll notice there are no other shops close by, nor would I expect any. Would YOU want to work near a missile depot? It’s not something that would slide easily into a strip mall.

Claude and Clara should have bought a lot more missiles three months ago. That way, they wouldn’t have to get any more for another couple more months.
