Sparky is thinking “I heard talk of ‘finger sandwiches.’ I’m not sure what those are but I like the sound of it and I want in.”

DING DING ALARM to our creators at C&C: We are only getting the first two frames of this animation! Claude is too selfish, anyway.

Leaving the kitchen was Claude’s first mistake. Opening the bag indoors was his second. He won’t get a third.

You were so concerned about Cleo’s canine presence that you forgot about Cleo’s canine ears.

    I was a bit late tonight cos I was… um… resting my eyes… really… just resting my eyes… after a late dinner…

This same glitch happened another time recently, and I woke up StelBel to fix it… I’m under orders to do that.

But tonight I was late, and I just couldn’t make myself call her…

and besides, I had the complete animation, so I put it on Postimage.

I hope they don’t fire me!

I’ll lose my whole paycheck… where am I going to find another three figure paycheck like $0.00?

I hope you guys will stand up for me if I’m in trouble!

Meanwhile…. welcome to the Year of the Ox!

On New Year’s Eve, everybody was bidding farewell to 2020…. blaming it for a lot of misfortunes.

But the coronavirus came to these shores around this time last year… and was still peaking in January 2021.

So I’m thinking we need to be using the lunar calendar, instead, and bidding farewell today to 4718… the Year of the Rat!

To be fair… the Rat, as a zodiac animal is considered auspicious… clever and kind… but for the moment, it’s time for him to go…. bring on the Ox!

The Ox is industrious and hardworking… he’ll help us pull through.

    Yay 4719!

Claude is eating leftovers… I’m not sure whether that’s OK in Lunar New Years superstitions…

    and I’m not superstitious anyway…

But just to make sure all is well…

we can chase any bad luck away in the traditional manner…

    With more firecrackers!

    Whoo hoo!

Good morning, Ballardeers and Susan! Q Date: 336.98717 13F on National No One Eats Alone with Plum Pudding Day.

Sparky’s gonna be in trouble like Little Dog Lost.

Cleo is getting a little slow. That bag wouldn’t have gotten out of the refrigerator around here.

Y’all stay warm and toasty. (((((HUGS!)))))

    Hi, everybody!!

First, thank you, Susan, for stepping in earlier and posting today’s animation on PostImage!!…..so appreciated!

Secondly, The problem the last time and then, earlier today, is squarely on Sherpa, just for your information. When I posted today’s animation, it was working perfectly. Somehow, when Sherpa takes it from the schedule line-up and posts it, a glitch occurs. Fortunately, I guess, we will no longer have to rely on Sherpa by the end of the month, because the site seems to be “disintegrating” slowly before our very eyes, with no hope of any repairs.

Lastly, I just reposted it a few minutes ago. It seems to be working perfectly again, so fingers crossed!! So, for anybody that wants to see it again or for the very first time, it can be seen here: http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy OR it’s still on Susan’s PostImage link: https://i.postimg.cc/fRLXqBMB/Doggy-Bag.gif

Apologies for the confusion and malfunction (since, Sherpa will never apologize! LOL). Thanks for sticking with us!

    StelBel

Claude should have learned from the last time that he brought Cleo something to eat in a doggie bag. After reading some of the comments, I’m having hopes that Cleo will have her own website called Cleoandcompany.com. It would be a lot easier to get to. Not only that, but we only have two more animations here on Sherpa to watch. At least I got finished reading all the other comics from the start. It’s going to be such a waste to lose all of them.
