We could start a Ladies Auxiliary….or better yet…. especially if you like flowers…I could suggest to The Ballard Ladies Flower Arranging, Swedish Meatball and Martial Arts Society, of which I’m a founding member, that we incorporate Floating into our Charter.
Ballard Ladies Flower Arranging, Floating, Swedish Meatball and Martial Arts Society has a nice ring to it…don’t you think?
I lost my connection late last (Monday) night just before before I got to some of the Tuesday strips.
I waited for a while and finally gave up and went to bed…thinking I might have to call my ISP today…er… yesterday… if it’s Wednesday when you see this… but all was fine again.
And Shika, yes…don’t give up….SOME day we’ll be on the same side of the clock.
LadyKat too.
But as I’m commenting now at 1:15 am, or 4:15 am where you are, and I’ll be going to bed as you get up…it might not be easy. ;)
One last thing….In last night’s hat discussion, Happy3 commented that he’d wanted to post some pics from Beach Blanket Babylon in San Francisco….(Not sure why you didn’t, Happy…)
When my service went out I was in the middle of finding some to post, so I saved the links…I think Steve Silver, the show’s creator, grew up on Ballard Street, at the Western end….
He may even have taken a class from Marcia’s millinery teacher….
How did they get the beer cans resealed after they emptied them? Or is there a smaller beer keg that is resealable that I am unfamiliar with? Pictures please.
The guy in the green shirt seems to be having Waaaaay too much fun! Beviek – I’m with Buster – that nice warm bed can feel sooo good. SusanSunshine – can that lady with the buildings on her head walk? This must be lucrative or they wouldn’t do it, right?

Floating down the stream…

If they remained outdoors they would be the skating club. Or the slip-slidin’ club.

Liverlips…
and may be, soon, anyway, if that basement isn’t heated….
Depending, of course, on what part of Ballard County Warren and Susie live in.

Good morning Ballard St,posters. I used to get a flooded basement during Spring thaw. A form of a ‘float club’ w/out the enjoyment. :) Peace.

I think a float club like that would be good for you. Reading while doing it is a bonus.
