Ted is on his way to the Center, He is mandated by the rules to behave in this manner whilst in route,

Ted’s continual enthusiasm has become tedious. Sally is rethinking his continued membership in the Center. And here she thought it would be good for him to get out from under her feet.

You will notice Sally even had her hair dyed a lovely shade of Peach at Susan’s Salon, but Ted didn’t even notice.

Ballard Street seems full of endless enthusiasm.

That’s one reason I like it here.

But yeah, Ted is so enthusiastic in civic matters, he hardly notices poor Sally.

In fact, she came back to the salon just today…

To answer the question of the comic – YES! All the enthusiasm here is wearing me out and I just got up. Beviek – yes, love the old lady crossing the road. LOL! Susan Sunshine – great job on Sally’s hair. Might be a new trend. Can’t help but smile at the smiley face beer.
