@Mr ShermanA couple of days ago you said you had been in Willamina and Sheridan. And I said I hope the wildfires missed them,Well the Willamina Fire is 9 miles from the city and evacuations are underway along one of the roads,Please say a prayer for our firefighters, We have many wildfires in Oregon and Washington, and most of them are only a small part contained. There are hundreds of homes lost already.
I’m glad that’s an evening show…the puppies want to see it, but I think they’re too young.
They know they can’t go out at night, so that stops the argument.
The dogs on Ballard Street are very strong-minded.Not only do they expect many of the shops, restaurants, bars and theaters to serve them, they tend to think of themselves as fully privileged members of the household…and users of its artifacts and furniture.
Even when they’re not quite capable of holding their own….
Happy travels, toth Bev and the Monkey!See you both when you get back!
Sorry I was late for your appointment, Monkey…This was the last night this year for the farmer’s market I work at on Wednesday evenings…it ran late…and I brought home so many tomatoes and grapes that Elvis (my dog car) had to move very slowly on the way home.
I’ll still be making the tomato pies you love for a few days after you get home, I’m sure.
Scooter is no movie critic but he knows what he likes. Pictured today, standing in line for his third viewing of “Ruined Chairs’ , he stated that this movie had him on the edge of his seat and rolling in the aisles with laughter. " It also was very educational" he said, with a sly grin, " I can’t wait to try out a few of the things I learned , when I go home."
Every Thursday there is a $2 early showing of the week’s special feature. Although the Ruined Chairs has been showing for three weeks now, it still pulls quite a large audience. Surprising Trooper took the lead on this; he pooled the money on the block and proudly bought nine tickets for the whole gang. Ms Millie doesn’t stand in line, she’s actually sitting in the shade next to the door. She’ll be the first one in, first to get popcorn and escorted to her seat by her many admirers. Its good to be Ms Millie
Want to know just how bad the transportation problem is for people in wheelchairs is in my part of the world?Yesterday one of my clients got a housecall from one his Doctors. She came to his house after work because he needed an evaluation for a problem sooner rather than later, and the medical transit in the area could not get him in until next week.
Well, Fireman, I guess everyone is gone for the night. You better get going to Oregon to fight those fires. I’ll tell the Last Rose (aka 2 old) that you said “hi”. I’m sorry you missed her yellow polka dot bikini thong too… Maybe next week?
Mist said, about 1 hour agoThe Ballard Gazette is reporting that the Ballard Theater and Leatherworks has closed their doors for repairs. Apparently Ballard Street dogs have chewed up and destroyed all the seats during a showing of “Ruined Chairs”.
