I seem to be like Daryl lately.

Has anyone seen Susan? She was leaning on the bar last I saw her….wait, there are feet sticking out from under the bar.Bev You go look.HOW much was that bar bill?!

I seem to be the only one hanging around (except for whomever is under the bar) (not looking, not looking).

Daryl’s got a pocket full of miracles.

What’s all this?A girl steps out for a little shopping, and suddenly she’s accused of sleeping off a binge under the counter?

No way!I was just putting a few things on Skika’s running tab at that BigLots Midnight Madness sale.

Did you know they had furniture? It’s not the best, of course, and I prefer antiques, anyway…but I got a small love seat for the downstairs bedroom in the yurt.It’ll be almost like a little guest suite.

Are you sure it’s not StelBel?I haven’t seen her face in a long time!

Or…. Shika?! Is it you?Trying to evade your promises, are you?Oh gosh… if it’s you… thanks for the little spree!Meanwhile… Darryl may not be financially buoyant…but you should see him floating in his red trunks, down at the Ballard County Municipal Pool and Men’s Sewing Circle.

The ole Capt’n is back and feeling a lot like poor Daryl.He needs to float a loan to keep from going adrift on this sea of uncertainty.

First Mate Maite’s project went well and she’s happy – and when the First Mate’s happy, then I’m happy.

To all my friends in the States: HAPPY LABOR DAY !

I got roped into some OT todaySeems appropriate, working on Labor Day.

I’ve always considered it odd how we celebrate working by taking the day off. Only in America. Hopefully those that are forced to work today are getting paid holiday pay and by that I mean double pay.

Shika — You better get here quick before these people drain your bank account. Sure hope that isn’t you under the bar. Have a great Labor Day everyone and enjoy your spoils from Shika.

I kinda wish they’d had a red one… but it is Big Lots, you know.Maybe you don’t get exactly the thing you wanted, but when a $79.95 pillow is marked down to $57.73….it’s such a deal,especially when someone else is paying….
